Where it all began for me
In school, our science teacher would sometimes take a break from teaching us science to read us Sherlock Holmes adventures. I guess to encourage our enquiring minds and the scientific method. This was my introduction to detective genre. I went on from there to every book by Raymond Chandler. Then came all the TV series and movies. Detective stories cover the whole literary fiction spectrum and it was a challenge finding an original setting for me to dive into and explore a new story I decided to settle on The apocalyptic battle between good and evil referred to in the Book of Revelations.
The Apocalypse (Inc) finally happens. Seems that handy ‘Book of Revelations’ prep section of the bible got it wrong big time. Lucifer and Satan are victorious. When Lucifer’s Ministry of Information database is hacked, a programmer and Consulting Detective, regular humans, are brought in to track down the hackers, they find themselves embroiled in a conspiracy that goes back to the dawn of humanity. Oh and did I mention zombies? Yes, there’s zombies.
